Fresh produce
These are some of the things I really enjoy in the Philippines. All the different varieties of fresh fruits and vegetables readily available, from the freshest buko to the sweetest mangoes or the sour & crispy ones, or the bitter melon. The kinds where you can't find anywhere in Europe or if you are lucky to find one, then it is as expensive as gold. That's why I love going to the market there & ogle at the richness to be had and splurge on whatever tempts my taste buds.

Hi van, this what I missed i nthe Philippines, especially in the Barrio markets where they just lay out their harvests for you to choose.
